Have you always wanted to learn how to quilt? Now is your chance through private lessons offered by Audrey at her home in Plymouth, Minnesota. Take a look at the classes offered below and contact Audrey to schedule your class.

BEGINNER QUILTING Make a Nine-Patch Doll Quilt. Learn how to do basic traditional piecing, a binding, beginning machine quilting and an introduction to safe rotary cutting. This is an 8-week class suitable for children (ages 8 and older) and beginning quilters. The cost for this class is $200. Fabric requirements must be purchased by student and kits are available for purchase.

INTERMEDIATE QUILTING Make a Large Quilted Tote Bag and a Small Wall Hanging or Crib Quilt. You will learn the techniques of fusible web applique, hand blanket stitch, basic traditional piecing, decorative machine stitching and intermediate machine quilting. This is a 10-week class suitable for students at least eight years old and with some quilting experience. The cost for this class is $250. Fabric requirements must be purchased by student and kits are available for purchase.

RAG QUILTING Make a flannel or denim rag quilt using the simple "quilt-as-you-go" technique. Blocks will be quilted and then assembled. Raggy applique hearts included on the quilt top. Perfect for throws, college dorm room quilts and snuggly baby quilts. This is a 6-week class suitable for students at least eight years old and with some quilting experience. The cost for this class is $150. Fabric requirements must be purchased by student and kits are available for purchase.

ADVANCED QUILTING Make the Travels With Ole & Lena Star Quilt (a sampler quilt made of thirteen 12-inch blocks). Technique’s you will learn: freezer paper applique’, machine applique’ stitch, traditional piecing, foundation piecing, template piecing, Y-seams, marking your quilt and getting it ready for quilting, and finally, quilting your quilt. This is a one-year Block-Of-The-Month club ~ a great way to join a wonderful quilt group! Students will meet two times per month for the first six months to make the 13 blocks. Students will continue to meet two times per month for the remaining six months to make the applique’ border, assemble the quilt and machine quilt. Choose from the following color-ways: 1930’s, Jewel-Tone, Thimbleberries, and Moda Home. The cost for this class is $50 per month, which includes the fabric and patterns. Additional fabric requirements purchased by the student and kits are available for purchase.

SPECIAL TECHNIQUES In this class you will be taught how to make Prairie Points, Piping in the Binding, Needle-Turn Applique, an introduction to Hand Piecing, Hand Quilting, electric quilt design using EQ6 software, and Trapunto. This is a 12-week class and students must take the Advanced class or have advanced quilting knowledge. The cost for this class is $250. Fee includes extensive, advanced instruction. Fabric requirements purchases by student and kits are available for purchase.

SPIRAL LONESTAR QUILT Excited to showcase your advanced quilting skills? In this class you will make a 60" x 60" spectacular wall hanging using only 8 specially selected fabrics. Ready to learn precision piecing? This is the class for you. Tackle quilting challenges such as mariner's compass, Y-seams, curved seams, mirror imaging, working with lame', quilting with metallic threads, and understanding your "personal measurement" and how it is key to assembling this quilt. 10-week class $250. Fabric and book requirements purchased by student.
