Audrey Fresh Cakes ~ Selection & Pricing


Get started today!  To create a customized cake order, schedule a professional consultation with Audrey. Following these 5 steps will prepare you in the cake ordering process.

STEP 1:

Determine the number of servings you will need.  Always order 20% more thank you think you will need.  If you are ordering a wedding cake, remember you will not serve the top tier.

STEP 2:

Decide your cake flavors.  Each tier can be a different flavor. Remember to select your favorite flavor for the bottom tier as it will provide more servings.

STEP 3:

Decide the shape of your cake (round, square, etc.). 

STEP 4:

Determine the size of your tiers (i.e. bottom tier 14" round, middle tier 10" round, and top tier 6" round). 

STEP 5:

Multiply the price per serving by the number of servings each tier will serve.  Add $0.75 per serving if you are ordering a fondant cake.

AMARETTO MOUSSE A dense, moist, and delicious white cake made with buttermilk and filled with light Amaretto Crème.

RICH YELLOW CAKE A rich, moist (not crumbly) flavorful, and very golden in color cake. Fillings: Choose from Orange Buttercream, Cognac Mocha Butter cream, or Vanilla Crème Cheese.

GIANT COOKIES Compliment your event with personalized, individually wrapped giant butter cookies! Cookies make beautiful table decorations and parting gifts. These cookies are decorated with royal icing, packaged with cello bags & organza ribbon, and can be kept for up to 2 weeks. Bride & Groom names & wedding date inscribed on each. Choose from Teacup or Wedding Cake motifs. Other motifs are available upon consultation (i.e. Baby Showers, etc.).

 

 

FROSTINGS, FONDANT & MARZIPAN

Swiss Meringue Buttercream frosting is Audrey's standard frosting for all cakes and is included in the per serving price. Cakes covered in chocolate ganache have an additional charge of $1.00 per serving*; Fondant covered cakes have an additional charge of $0.75 per serving; and Marzipan covered cakes have an additional charge of $1.50 per serving. (*Exception: The groom's cake price per serving includes Chocolate Ganache.)

 

FLORAL DESIGN

Audrey offers elegant sugar dough floral artistry on your cake.  Let us know your favorite flowers or colors that will compliment your event, and experience the beautiful difference that sugar dough flowers bring to your cake. The cost of sugar dough flowers will be added to your order based on a working hourly rate of $8.00 per hour plus the cost of sugar dough.

  

SHAPES & SIZES

Choose from quarter-sheet, half-sheet, full sheet, rounds from 6-inch to 18-inch, squares from 6-inch to 18-inch, as well as heart, hexagon, oval, petal, shaped cakes. Tiers may be stacked or separated by pillars.

 

CUPCAKE TOWER

Custom designed cupcakes and display tower is a fun dessert alternative at any celebration. The tower and cake toppers can be elaborate (i.e. beads & favors, etc.) depending on the party theme and favor selections (additional charges may be assessed).

PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

An ordering deposit of 50% of wedding and large event cakes is required to hold the event date.  A check or credit card payment for the balance is due 7 days prior to event. Payment is accepted by VISA, Master Card, and Checks payable to Audrey Fresh.

 

Payment for individual specialty cakes (under $100) is due upon ordering of cake. Cancellation of cake orders may be made prior to 4 weeks of event at a fee of 25% to compensate for business loss for wedding or large event date held. If cancellation is made within 4 weeks of event, no refunds of deposits will be made.

 

DELIVERY

Delivery is provided with wedding and large event cake orders at no charge if within the Twin Cities metro area.  Outside the metro area, delivery charges will be assessed at $1.00 per mile.  Single specialty cakes are to be picked up by client. Delivery arrangements can be made for $5.00 fee if destination is within the Plymouth/Wayzata/Maple Grove, MN area.
